About Edgecomputenet

A Nangar-based training practice devoted to technical analysis education — specifically teaching traders how to backtest chart setups with discipline.

Why we exist

Too many traders treat a familiar pattern as proof. We started Edgecomputenet after years of sitting beside friends and clients who could name engulfing candles and trendlines yet could not show a notebook of how those ideas behaved across a full year of bars. The gap was not motivation — it was method.

Origin

The practice took shape in regional New South Wales, where quieter days made room for long chart reviews without the noise of a dealing floor. Word moved through ASX and FX communities that wanted coaching without a signal service attached. We kept the offer narrow on purpose: technical analysis training with backtesting at the centre.

How we work

Sessions stay small. Homework is non-negotiable. We prefer paper journals or simple spreadsheets over flashy scorers, because the learning happens when you mark ambiguous bars yourself. Instructors challenge optimistic sampling — cherry-picked winners, ignored chop, and stops moved after the fact.

Values

  • Evidence before sizing
  • Plain language about risk and limits of historical study
  • Respect for the student’s own markets and hours
  • Clear separation between education and personal financial advice

Community

We occasionally open group chart labs in Nangar and online so traders can see how peers interpret the same candle. Graduates of the intensive sometimes return for a clinic when they change markets or timeframes.
